Richard Farmbrough

Richard Farmbrough is a proven leader in the creative sector, having founded, built and sold Reef Television, one of the UK’s leading factual television production companies. He has created a number of commercially and creatively successful television brands and his programmes have been nominated for BAFTA, RTS and Emmy awards.

Prior to Reef, Richard worked at the BBC, CNN and Talkback. In 2015 Reef Television was acquired by Zinc Media PLC and Richard was appointed Commercial Director. He exited the business three years later. 

For four years after leaving Zinc Media, Richard worked as a consultant and then became CEO of Must Ltd, an innovative media and technology start-up that aimed to transform the way that consumers navigate their way around the entertainment landscape. 

Owen Rodd

With a background in news journalism and an RTS award as a director, Owen has gained a reputation as a great storyteller with a knack for crafting new shows into much-loved series. His factual hits include The Nile: Egypt’s Greatest River (C5), Britain’s Lost Railways (C5), Walking Through History (C4), Penelope Keith’s Hidden Villages (C4), and multiple series of the BBC’s Wainwright Walks.

Nearly twenty years producing and directing across specialist and popular factual, has seen him in the US, Egypt, India, Europe and southern Africa, working with talent including Dan Snow, Tony Robinson, Richard E Grant, Bettany Hughes, Julia Bradbury and Charlie Luxton.  

He has amassed credits with all the UK’s terrestrial channels as well as Smithsonian, Discovery, A&E Networks and The Weather Channel.
